Land of unlimited possibilities and tourism

The United Arab Emirates is seeking to diversify its economy

The United Arab Emirates is still largely dependent on revenues from the sale of oil and natural gas. The country is therefore working hard to diversify its economy. One way is to support tourism and massive investment in services and infrastructure. While in 2010 the country registered 10 million international tourist arrivals, by 2019 it was 22 million. The GDP of the country and the GDP of the tourism industry show a long-term correlation, which indicates the alignment of the economy with this sector.

  • Gross domestic product in 2021  415 billion dollars
